Celadon Coturnix Quail – Blue Egg Laying Hens (Limited Availability)
Celadon coturnix quail are a special variety known for laying blue eggs.
Our celadon line originates from McMurray Hatchery stock and is being carefully developed at Martwin’s Hen House with a focus on health, strong genetics, and reliable egg production. While we are not associated with this hatchery, we do suggest them for any additional needs. They're wonderful and Martwin's Hen House has been purchasing chick, quail, and quail eggs from them for years!
All birds are raised in small batches and fed high-protein gamebird feed with calcium supplementation available at all times. Quail are kept in clean, spacious pens with proper lighting, shelter, and enrichment to support healthy laying and breeding.
Celadon hens typically begin laying around 6–8 weeks of age and will produce blue eggs when kept within the celadon line.
